Modern House Design On The Andes by Juan Carlos Doblado Beautiful House Facing The Andes Mountains by Juan Carlos Doblado

This beautiful house designed by Juan Carlos Doblado, located facing the Andes Mountains in Antioquia Huarochirí Peru. The house is set in the top of a sloping ground, enriching the relationship with the topography of the project. The program is organized into two parallel and horizontal volumes outdated, based on a simple geometry where the inside is as important as the exterior. The courtyard entry articulates both volumes under one cover and provides a visual opening to the mountains surrounding the valley. In both volumes transparency is what dominates them. Each room has an entire side made of glass, making the landscape part of the interior space and expanding it.

The general language of the house consists of exposed concrete walls evoking the timelessness of the stone and sliding colorless glass doors. The bottom part of the wall is covered with a dark stone to accentuate the weightlessness of the two main volumes. – Juan Carlos Doblado
