This awesome modern house located in East Hampton, NY designed by New York based architects Bates Masi. This house built in large land with modern material like glass, limestone, steel, and aluminum. The house is now having two stories and the main entrance has double staircase to the second floor. The exterior design employs a tiered approach, with each level of the house stepping back and creating exterior walkways and terraces.
However, subsequent zoning dictated building only on the exact footprint of the original house. The main entrance is a 2-storied sky-lit space with double staircase to the second floor. The end result is a sleek, minimalist home that exudes a gallery-like atmosphere. Interestingly, it literally sits atop the very foundation the previous home occupied due to zoning restrictions.
