“The living, dining, kitchen area opens up to a front court, while the library begins to step up the hill to feel like a room with in a room. An open stair ascends a half flight to the garden at the back, and switches back to a landing at the bedrooms. The vertical sequence continues to the roof via a submarine-like ladder to a secret roof garden that affords views of Hollywood and the Pacific Ocean beyond.”
