This contemporary Houseboats designed by Hamburg based architects Niderehe Rust, located in beautiful canal Eilbek Hamburg, Germany. The idea was to design a house boat, which essentially has the character of a boat, it can also demonstrate the comfort of a traditional family house. The formal language should be clear and simple, reflected in the plan and in the area of education of the individual rooms. So the rooms are developed from public to private, using a single wall that wraps like a spiral inwards and, in essence, the private areas, bathroom and utility room includes. With the choice of material they decided on steel and wood, and thus for typical materials from the ship and out of the building. Public spaces created above (cooking, eating and meeting) and private rooms created in down (work, living and sleeping). Im the middle of town and surrounded by greenery, and the residence must be changed once then move the house, so the desire of the residents. – Photos by Jens Kroell and Rust Niderehe Architects
