This house located on the south slope of Puster Valley in South Tyrol Italy, designed by Italian Architect AllesWirdGut Architektur. The house is complemented and effectively expanded by outdoor spaces of different character – from the classical forecourt to a wind-protected dining corner and a court-like roof terrace with a room high-enclosure for sunbathing and barbecuing. This house was designed as a passive house without heating. Energy and cost efficiency required a compact volume; nevertheless, the living area had to be generous in layout and flexible to use. Efficient organization of space allows a spectacular living area extending over the full length of the building while offering maximum sunlighting and a stunning view of the dolomite from the bedrooms and bathroom. – Photos by Hertha Hurnaus
