Las Vegas based interior firm – Chemical Spaces- recently design interior for Hard Rock Las Vegas Hotel. One of most uniquely interior design is “Gorilla Suite”. The designer created this room twisted take on a library and cigar bar. This interior dominated with brown color as symbolize the elegance of Gorilla.

The design features Wenge wall paneling cut into custom shapes and divided with silver, metal striping. The metallic-silver porcelain wall tile contrasts with the rich hardwood floors and gives the suite a modern feel—but the bronze mirrored ceiling, croc-skin custom furniture, and giant hand-painted wall murals of girls and gorilla make this a distinctly dark, savage, sexy urban jungle. MM House-House Design Surrounding Forest Vegetation by Andrade Morettin Arquitetos

Brazil based architects Andrade Morettin Arquitetos was design a modern house with dense forest vegetation, in the surroundings of the city of Sao Paulo. The privileged geography of the place – a true amphitheatre with access at the higher part – suggests an occupation that respects its natural characteristics.

This platform of reinforced concrete was cut and folded, adapting it to the site and creating distinct functional regions. In the west wing a swimming pool and external living space were created. In between the two wings, protected by a suspended volume of exposed concrete, situated the living room and kitchen, integrated in one and the same space.

Located in Bucharest, AA Studio has designed Apartment interior with clearly spacious apartment, aerated, luminous, simple and comfortable. The transformation of the apartments into one single space led to spectacular results; it created a situation which exists through and from light. Using the RGB lighting systems, combined with the different white surfaces and the curtains that define or close some spaces, the lighting design makes the space very versatile. To achieve their goal, the architects chose lighting pieces of the best quality, with a clean design, almost minimalist for the ceilings and walls in the living room. “…We present you a generous space, of almost 400 sqm , who resulted from uniting 2 apartments placed in mirror. The fusion-transformation , from which resulted a spectacular place , who lives from and through light , took place in less than a year thanks to the good communication and relationship with the owner. Starting from the wishes of the client, expressed very clearly: a spacious apartment , aerated ,luminous, simple and confortable, the designer team managed this challenge approaching the space at an un-usual scale.

The two initial spaces, each with all the functions (living room, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, bathrooms and technical space), but placed in mirror, are next to a park/ green space, so the architects took advantage of this, making the perception of the outside space to be dynamic, not fragmented visually. So, the new apartment relates very well with the outdoor through many windows, but also it can close it self enjoying the numerous lighting systems creating special atmospheres.

Regarding the functional distribution of the spaces, the architects came up with a simple solution: the day area placed in one apartment, and the night spaces in the other apartment, united by the fitness room. The spaces created are: master bedroom, dressing room, bathroom, shower bath, and secondary bathroom, living room, dinning room, kitchen, 2 guests bathroom, and a guest bedroom.All these spaces are united by the furniture design and the lighting. The large dimensions of the spaces permitted a ‘rescale’ , resulting a custom furniture project made by the architects. The furniture pieces are simple with ferm lines, square angles, but their scale and the way they interact with the generous space makes them very elegant and majesticly. The most spectacular piece of furniture has to be the bed, a floating slab, a purple spot in a big white space that has as a benchmark the big plasma tv and the bonsai…..”

Built in 130 sqm constructed area, this architects -Juan Herreros Arquitectos converts an existing vernacular structure that formerly served as a refuge for shepherds into a small residence for occasional use. The approach consisted of replicating the original volume symmetrically to conserve the original conditions and technical function of an apparently innocent construction that was designed intelligently where its orientation, ventilation and water collection facilities, etc. were concerned. The interior reproduces the original and primitive compartments for animals, shepherds and forage. In two directions: In north side there are kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. In the south side there are set for dining room, living room and study room. Each compartment contains one single major object like table, sofa, writing desk, bath, bed and cooker which serves to define each space and its use.
