This contemporary “Light House” used for single family residence, designed with 3,850 sq.ft in Ottawa Canada by LineBox Studio Inc. This house located in a desirable neighbourhood close to downtown Ottawa. It rests on a forty foot fully treed natural escarpment boasting an amazing panorama of the city. From the outset of the project the client expressed a firm vision to develop a house that would suit their young family, create a social interactive kitchen area and provide interconnected open areas.

Yoder-Doornbos House situated on Camelback Mountain with stunning view of the city designed by Michael Johnson Architect. Anchored to the mountain on the east, the elegantly simple form soars from the site, on the opposite side, it is supported only by an elevator tower and sheer wall, cantilevering the master bedroom above the Valley floor as the mountain drops away. Axelrod Design has designed a house located in Tel Aviv called eHouse. This house combines the Mediterranean minimalist design and livability. The house is defined by two axes; one running lengthwise through the main living space and one perpendicular from the main entrance to the staircase. The longitudinal axis is reflected in the roof plane with a long skylight that runs the entire length of the house. The transverse axis is punctuated with a dramatic front entrance of horizontal wooden slats and cantilevered canopy. Read the description after the images.
